I enjoyed traveling to Western Massachusetts for a weekend of rewarding conversations with feminist scholars of cryotechnologies. I circulated an article-length paper titled "Securing Life and Deferring Death in Embryo Donation for Stem Cell Research," which engaged with Joanna Radin and Emma Kowal's work on cryopolitics with respect to one family's embryo donation story. I'm really loving the intimacy of workshops/symposiums for digging deep into ideas with colleagues. Sending many thanks to Jennifer Hamilton and Charlotte Krolokke for inviting me to participate.
