Reproductive Righteousness: A Global Feminist Collaboration

The Reproductive Righteousness Project is a global feminist collaboration on the central role of reproductive politics with far-right movements. We are feminist scholars who collaboratively theorize expressions of what we call “reproductive righteousness.” Our work is interdisciplinary, comparative, and global in scope. Our approach incorporates intersectional feminist, queer, and reproductive justice perspectives to investigate diverse expressions of this trend–-from abortion bans, to prohibitions on queer adoption, to promotions of “natural” birth–-across different contexts in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

I co-lead this project with Lea Taragin-Zeller and Sarah Franklin.
